Marlon Hoffstadt

Marlon Hoffstadt, AKA DJ Daddy Trance, is turning club culture inside out. Since he dropped his thumping edit of Kid Cudi's "Day N' Night" in 2020, the neon-haired, always-smiling, club-kid-turned-young-father has flipped the rules of underground dance music on its head, bringing a feel-good pop energy to storming club tracks that have made him the most popular DJ in his home city of Berlin and a sensation around the world. He still plays free parties in small clubs for his fans at home at Club Heart Broken, the night he started with MALUGI. He also easily sells 20,000 tickets within hours at events as far afield as Australia. In 2025, he signed with the American label Capital Records and made his US debut on the main stage at Electric Daisy Carnival, playing between Tiestö and Armin Van Buuren for 70,000 people. The pop world wants him: Marlon's done remixes for Madonna and Kylie Minogue. The EDM world does, too: Fisher remixed two of Marlon's tracks, and finished his set at Tomorrowland with a flip of "Daddy's In The Club." In 2024, he launched DADDYCATION, something part concert, part audio-visual show, blasting through medleys of his own classics and whatever new thing he's just finished. He remains totally in touch with his fans, even letting them vote on what tracks should be on his next record. In the booth, he grins like a kid on Christmas, as if he's a little surprised this is all really happening. But this is what he's been working toward for all along.

"I'm so damn ready," he says. He's serious about what he does, but never takes himself too seriously. Too poppy for the underground, too ravey for the mainstream, never really fitting in anywhere and never really caring. A man dedicated to the simple mission of making you feel more than you've ever felt, Marlon is unapologetically Marlon.
