Hailing from New York City by way of being born in Brooklyn and raised in Queens, DJ Miss Milan embodies the grit and essence of New York. From working to support her dream, in 2017, Milan took a leap of faith by quitting her job and working towards creating her version of the American dream. Milan first gained recognition by championing & spinning for upcoming talents such as Connie Diiamond and Justine Skye, also through mixtapes and playlist curation for platforms like Audiomack; all led to her early work as Saweetie's DJ during the Icy Girl era in 2018 until 2023.

Connecting with upcoming artist Doechii in 2020 before her signing to TDE, DJ Miss Milan and Doechii built a strong sisterhood and partnership that has only grown over time.
